No matter where you are located, you'll never miss a garbage bin emptying date thanks to its user-friendly and intuitive interface. ## Challenges Our task was to create a comprehensive remote service for Android and iOS that tackles citizens' challenges with timely waste collection. Our app offers a range of unique features, ensuring comfort and convenience in waste management. ### Timely Reminders Receive push notifications about upcoming waste collection, allowing you to choose precise reminder dates - days before collection or on the day itself. ### Flexible Address Management Easily input and manage multiple addresses, efficiently controlling the waste collection process for different locations, including family members or tenants. ### Online Waste Registration Register bulky waste, large electronic appliances, and green waste online. Select a suitable collection date and receive automatic confirmation of your request. ## Process Idea The idea for the application was born out of the need to improve waste management processes and citizen awareness in the city. Research This involved studying existing waste management systems, user behaviors, preferences, and technological possibilities. The research helped define the scope and features of the application. Design The design phase involved creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes of the application. User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design were crucial to ensure an intuitive and visually appealing app. Development The development phase encompassed turning the design concepts into a fully functional mobile application. The development team utilized technologies such as Firebase and TYPO3 to build the app for both Android and iOS platforms. Testing Thorough testing was conducted to ensure the app's functionality, performance, and usability. This included testing various scenarios, data inputs, and interactions. Release After rigorous testing and refinement, the application was ready for release.
