Traineeship: Python Developer

Requirements

Trainee

• Basic understanding of Python and its core libraries
• Basic understanding of software development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and asynchronous programming
• Familiarity with any web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, …)
• Knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS protocols
• Basic knowledge of SQL

Nice to have

• Understanding of task queues / Hands-on experience with task queues.
• Familiarity with Docker
• Familiarity with ORM libraries
• Some experience in pet projects

Responsibilities

• Development and support of the backend part of the platform on Python/FastAPI.
• Working with databases (PostgreSQL)
• Working with object storage (MinIO)
• Optimization and refactoring of existing solutions to improve performance
• Working with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to satisfy project needs
• Troubleshooting and code debugging
• Developing and maintaining code and application documentation
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices for the team
• Write clean and maintainable code
